WebDec 8, 2024 · If you unlock them to get higher framerates it speeds the game up. So Samus Returns runs at lightning speed with an unlocked framerate. To actually play the game you'll be locked to 30fps, same as playing on a 3DS. Some games just aren't running properly still though despite this awesome update.
